Three hundred sixty-five mornings, written from the Father's heart to you. Read slowly. Let the words settle. He is not in a hurry.
Both devotionals come from the same place: journals kept in prayer, written down the way they were heard.
Jonye's first devotional, a year of morning words gathered from the same prayer journals. Where Like a Rushing Stream began.
Before you decide whether this book belongs on your nightstand, let me send you seven of the days. One each morning, straight to your inbox. See if they speak.
"Listen to the stillness in your heart; that peace is a peace that passes all understanding."Day 2 · John 14:27

Jonye Lamont has spent years in the quiet practice of listening to God in prayer and writing down what she hears. Those journals became Like a Rushing Stream, and her prayer is that every page points you back to Him.
She serves in the prayer ministry at her church and prays regularly with two intercessory prayer groups. She and her husband, Gary, have been married for more than 50 years and have owned and operated their glass company in the Tulsa area since 1990. They make their home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Gary has worked in the glass industry since 1972. They have two children, five grandchildren, and their first great-grandchild on the way. A little Yorkie named Lilye and a cat named Gracie round out their family and keep them company.
Jonye is also the author of As Surely as the Dawn.
