Welcome. By using jonyelamont.com (the "site"), signing up for emails or text messages, or ordering a book, you agree to these terms. The site is operated by Jonye Lamont of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma ("Jonye," "we," "us"). If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Using the site

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not try to interfere with the site, scrape it, or use it for anything unlawful. We may change or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

2. Content and copyright

Everything on this site and in our emails and text messages, including the devotional text, book excerpts, photographs, and design, is the property of Jonye Lamont or her publisher, Crafton Press, LLC, and is protected by copyright. Like a Rushing Stream and As Surely as the Dawn are copyright Jonye Lamont. You are welcome to share a day's reading with a friend or quote a line with credit. Please do not reproduce, republish, or sell any of the content without written permission. Scripture quotations are used under the terms of their respective publishers.

3. Email

When you request the free 7-day sample or sign up for Jonye's notes, you agree to receive the emails you requested plus occasional messages about new writing, books, and events. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can stop at any time.

4. Text messages

Jonye offers a text-message program for readers who want a short daily devotional on their phone. Here is how it works:

• How you opt in. You opt in by submitting the sign-up form on jonyelamont.com/sms/ with your mobile number and checking the consent box. That is the only way we add a number to the program. We do not add numbers from purchases, email sign-ups, or any other source.
• What you will receive. A short daily devotional reading, a reply if you text us a question, and occasional notes about Jonye's books. Message frequency varies, up to about one message per day.
• Cost. We do not charge for the program, but message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
• Opting out. Reply STOP to any message and you will be removed right away. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Reply START to opt back in.
• Privacy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy.
• Eligibility. You must be 18 or older and the owner or authorized user of the mobile number you provide.
• Delivery. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

5. Orders

• Prices and payment. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and include shipping within the United States. Payment is processed by Stripe at checkout. Sales tax is collected where required.
• Shipping. Signed copies are shipped by Jonye herself within 7 business days of your order, by USPS, to U.S. addresses only. You will receive an email when your order ships.
• Damaged or missing books. If your book arrives damaged or does not arrive, email [email protected] within 30 days of ordering and we will send a replacement or refund your order.
• Returns. Because each copy is personally signed, we do not accept returns for change of mind. If something is wrong with your order, write to us and we will make it right.
• Other retailers. Books bought through Amazon or another retailer are covered by that retailer's policies, not these terms.

6. Your messages to us

If you send us a note, a prayer request, or a story through the contact form or by text, you give us permission to read it and reply. We will not publish anything you send without asking you first.

7. No professional advice

The devotional content on this site is offered for encouragement and reflection. It is not medical, mental health, legal, or financial advice. If you are in crisis, please contact a professional or a local emergency number.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site and its content are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jonye Lamont and Crafton Press, LLC disclaim all warranties and are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, our messages, or our books. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
